I have had my share of "variable seeing" sessions over these last years,
but I don't think I have experienced anything quite as remarkable as I did this morning.
I started with Saturn and was pleased to see some nice conditions,
which appeared to deteriorate a little as I finished with IR's and moved onto Mars.
I managed to catch one reasonable set of R,G and B,before the seeing totally disintegrated,
to the extent that there were moments I could not even make out Mars at all.
At that point I decided I would end my session after trying a final few IR's,
as it would be pointless to waste time on Jupiter and Venus under these conditions.
However, with the final Mars IR,I saw a (very) slight improvement, and,
giving myself a few minutes to ensure that the corrector plate was clear of any dew,
I quickly checked on Jupiter,to find that I was seeing something special.
The "nice" conditions, after about 30mins of chaotic seeing, had returned, and more!
This within about 10mins of me being convinced that I should abort the session!
A few comments: The "hook/flake?" on the preceding edge of the GRS must be interpreted with caution- Europa is also there!
The wake of the GRS is incredibly complex and turbulent with multiple bright outbreaks
and distinct dark spots (even seen in the CH4). There is a significant oval structure in the SEBs following the GRS.
There's a lot of other detail, but I was really taken by the beautiful, tiny red spot in the SSTBs sf the GRS.
I had not noticed anything unusual while capturing the RGB,so was quite shocked when the CH4 suddenly showed Europa!
As I progressed, the seeing again had moments of instability, and I had to make use of the single best UV capture.

I finally had some clearing this morning but only for a brief moment. Here is an image of Jupiter with Calllisto.
Unfortunately, the sky became overcast as I was about to capture methane band.
Seeing was only average and transparency was poor due to thin clouds which became overcast.
The SEB looks a little strange especially on the left edge.
There seems to be a circulation from the EZ pushing into the SEBn which seems to cut the SEB almost in half.
The NEB is quiet in this region.

The atmospheric currents above were so intense that the image was blurred.
This time,we used RGB filters to take segmented images. The coloring seems to be good.
