Hi all, here's an image of Jupiter from this morning in poor seeing,
however it was a nice change to see anything at all after the recent
weather. The only usable filter was 750nm longpass and this is a
Winjupos derotation of 6 images taken over 30 minutes. The derotation
has blurred out both Callisto (below and right of Jupiter) and the
shadow of Europa coming across the disk at lower left.
Hi all, some improved conditions this morning allowed me to capture data
in both IR and RGB. The jetstream is still very strong across northern
Australia and shows no sign of relenting just yet,but it was good to
see some details on Jupiter thanks to this temporary relief.

Here is an image taken from home this morning - just 8mins before sunrise. Seeing poor to fair.
Things should improve as the altitude significantly improves over the coming weeks.

Jupiter always in quite bad seeing conditions, mitigated by the use of a methane filter. 3x5' images added by derotation.

This is the first time this apparition to get the GRS in transit.
The seeing was only fair and indeed I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the RGB and IR 642nm BP images.
The CH4 and UV images are poor and the seeing was getting worse for these.
