Jupiter this morning in average seeing conditions from Aversa (southern Italy).
Since the Cassegrain is resting in Turin,I used the 14" Dobson here.
[Vincenzo della Vecchia : [Aversa,Italy]
I didn't image Jupiter at the beginning of this morning’s session as the seeing looked very poor,
but as I was busy with Mars,
I saw a marked improvement and returned to Jupiter. The GRS was nicely placed and shows quite a bit of interesting activity around it.
There appears to be a small SEBs ring already in the hollow.
The seeing for the CH4 and UV was not as good and was also affected by some low cloud and dew.
Io came into view from behind Jupiter during the session.

A collaboration with Rico Enzmann for this morning's image. Some moments of good seeing.
The GRS is nicely on view.

We had horrible weather here for a week due to two tropical systems.
The sky cleared today and conditions were perfect with Jupiter over 70deg in altitude.
Incredible details all over Jupiter. Something seems to be brewing on the SEBn/EZs just past the CM.
Note the large bright feature at the edge of the dark band that seems to be interacting with the EZ.
There are some bright outbreaks on the NEBs/EZn which are bright in methane band.
