The sky was totally overcast this evening. I was about to give up.
Before going to bed,the checked the sky one last time. There was a clearing around the moon and Jupiter.
With Jupiter close the the zenith,seeing was perfect though transparency wasn't great because of some thin clouds.
The SEB/NEB revival seem to be ongoing. Note the long bright white patch on the SEBn just before the CM.

I made a number of runs on Jupiter last night/ this morning in generally very good seeing conditions.
I started out with an RGB/ IR 642nm BP run with the GRS in transit,
followed by Methane Band,then 850nm BP then UV. Since the seeing remained very good throughout,
I went back to the RGB/ IR 643nm BP combination for a 2nd time,over 3 hours a,d 500GB later.
The light cloud in the North Polar Region in the CH4 image shows a hint of the wave pattern observed in Andy's and Chris' images.
Where the cloud has retreated there,one can see a series of light coloured patches visible in the CH4,RGB and IR 642nm BP images.
