ひまわり画像的には無理かと思っていましたが、
雲間から大赤斑を撮像できました。
2枚目あたりは気流も悪くなかったです

The seeing was poor.

We had a powerful thunderstorm early this evening. Surprisingly the sky cleared up at around 8pm.
However seeing and transparency wasn't very good.
The GRS is well resolved. The wake of the GRS is very complex and seem to be spilling into the STrZ!
This is a bit weird. This may be due to an outbreak very close to the halo of the GRS.
The chimney above the GRS seem to be closing.
Note the very bright white cyclonic oval on the STB close to the CM.
Note the outbreaks of the NEBs.
It seems it is these small and short term outbreaks that is slowly reviving the NEB.
At the NPR,2 white ovals can be seen. These are the polar ovals that Juno images during Perijove.

I made RGB and IR 642nm BP runs on Jupiter with the GRS in transit on 11th October 2022.
The seeing looked quite good, with few visible large perturbations on the planet's disk on the video feed.
However, there was a shimmer which I believe was due to short wavelength, higher frequency turbulence.
In the final processing this pretty much wiped out the very fine detail.
The seeing improved by the time I then moved over to Methane band and was better again for the 2nd RGB
and IR 642nm BP runs, with the GRS closer to the Central Meridian.
However, again the resolution of very fine detail was impacted.
