I managed 3 RGB & IR runs this evening,with the GRS in transit,before the clouds closed in.
The seeing was fair to good.

The structure around the GRS is unusual,with a peak at the north of the RSH,
where a narrow chimney noted by others has opened up.
On the f side of the RSH the SEB has a very thin red-brown border,
whereas to the south it is distinctly grey in colour and has a projection on the f side curling up around the GRS.
The internal structure of the GRS is well resolved.



After the first RGB/IR run was clouded out,
I was surprised to find the skies had largely cleared 3 hours later.
I ran two more RGB/IR runs with an intervening CH4 Band run.
The seeing was fair to good for the first of these and improved somewhat as the night wore on.
The methane band image was surprisingly good.
The red spot in the NNTB,
(is it NN-LRS-1?) is very methane bright and seems to be interacting with a paler oval to its north and on the p side.

好シーイングは期待できないけど晴れたので撮影しました。案の定シーイング
は悪く風はあり、木星像はボワボワ状態でした。
１セット目を処理したけど、細部が分からぬ撮影したよのレベルだったので、
１セット目で終わりとしました。

久しぶりの投稿です。夏の好気流は過ぎ去ったようですが比較的安定していました。ＧＢのピント山がつかみにくい気流でした

日中北風が強く、夜も冬の気流かと思いましたが、思いの外良い気流でした。
最初のカラーは、10ｈ53ｍ〜10ｈ58ｍの60ｓ×6回をDe-rotationしたので、データに記入した10ｈ56ｍになるはずが、
WinJUPOSの合成された時刻は10ｈ58.2ｍでした。
この時刻だと、ω1＝326.3°、ω2＝74.6°、ω3＝13.0°になります。
RS後方の白斑活動は収まっています。
NEBに明るい白斑が目立ちます

急に寒くなった快晴の夜なので、
気流状態はさぞかし酷いのだろうと思っていたら、
細部まで見える良気流でした

シーイングはあまりよくなかった。シャッター速度を早くした画像でやや鮮明であった。

予想したほどシーイングは悪くなく、南中過ぎても比較的安定していました。
大赤斑後部のフックは少し後方に離れ、RS bayが広く感じました。

４枚目の時間帯で特にシーイングがよくなりました。
寒気が入っている北海道の今の季節にしては予想に反してよい条件でした。

Hello,here are obserations of Jupiter-Europa-Ganymede from last night  under very good conditions:

Quite disappointing seeing conditions (a 'bust' for Meteoblue that went for perfect conditions,
while Skippy was perhaps closer to the mark under a moderate jetstream).
But beggars can't be choosers in our wettest October on record in our wettest year on record,
even for a short session disrupted by the usual clouds!
And I think the cloud patches bracketed my session neatly with Niall’s two sessions just before and afterwards.

The GRS is completing a transit,and while the Spot itself looks fairly quiet,
the Hollow on the f. side looks quite enlarged.
The GRS wake looks very compact indeed,just a small wedge of plume activity.
There is a small well-defined outbreak on the NEBs,spreading a little NW/SE,
which is present,but not very prominent in the methane band image.

天候とシーイングに恵まれず、約1ヶ月振りに撮像する事が出来ましたが、今回もシーイングが安定せず待機時間が長くなってしまいました。
撮像を始めようとしたPM7時過ぎには大赤斑が見えていましたが、実際に撮像を開始出来たのは木星の南中直前のPM９時過ぎでした。
その後もシーイングの変動に悩ませられながらが2時間半程撮像を続けましたが、再び大きくシーイングが悪化し始めたところで終了としました。

An rgb & ir610 image of Jupiter from 26th October 2022 - not much to report but sent as a record in poor seeing…
although the ir610nm image does show reasonable details.
