Hi all, here's an image of Jupiter from last night using a CH4 (methane
absorption) filter. The image shows cloud altitudes more than
composition, with bright clouds corresponding to high altitude. The
polar hazes can be seen at top and bottom, also the equatorial zone
shows a lot of high cloud.

This image was captured without binning using the QHY5III-200M camera @
30fps,through a 889/18nm filter. 5 x 90s recordings were measured and
combined to make this result. The camera certainly appears to be quite
sensitive and low noise in the IR band.

天気が悪く12日振りの撮影です。移動性高気圧の後端で安定気流を期待しましたが、
残念ながらこの程度でおまけに薄い雲が来襲して最後は雲の中でした
