シーイングが少し戻ってきました

ひまわり画像で、日本海のすじ雲が弱くなっていたので、望遠鏡を向けたら、この時期としては悪くない気流でした。
RS後方の白斑活動は少し活発なようです。

The QHY5III462M finally arrived yesterday. Unfortunately we had a heavy thunderstorm all night!
Today,it was cloudy all day and we had a thunderstorm late afternoon to early evening.
I wasn't expecting to image but the sky cleared. Seeing was unstable.
I was able to test the QHYIII462M vs the QHYIII200M.
The first two RGB images were captured using the 462M while the third on was with the 200M.
The IR image was captured using the 462M and an IR 850nm pass filter.
The earlier methane band image was taken using the 462M and the later one with the 200M.
The noise level of the 462M is very similar to the 290M.
But the 462M is more sensitive in visible light to NIR compared to the 290M.
The 200M was more sensitive in visible light than the 462M plus with lower noise.
The 462M is more sensitive in methane band than the 200M but the low noise of the 200M compensates this.
I will do another test tomorrow if conditions will be better.

経過中のイオの影がジャマでしたが、post-GRS dist.が活動的なようです。

Missed a number of nights due to cloud and threatened rain.
I’m becoming convinced that the early/mid evening conditions are affected by the significant day-evening temperature drop(+20 deg C recently)
and the westerly wind which sometimes only settles well into the evening.
Unfortunately my Jupiter sessions are negatively impacted by this (getting better results on Mars later in the evening despite low altitude)
Attached 2xIR,1xCH4 and 1x RGB from yesterday evening as the GRS was setting. The earlier RGB was poor and I discarded it.
