解説(安達)/ Comment by Makoto Adachi
Image set from this morning, with Syrtis Major on the left and Hellas at upper left.
S Sabeaus and S Meridiani again prominent across the centre of the planet.
There is structure in the SPC,with ongoing indication of dust over/on the pole.
The seeing on screen did not look that good,so I was pleasantly surprise with the set,
although there is a small spot on the edge of the SPC that is burned out.

Hello - a Mars image from UT 15th April, Tritonis,
Tyrrhenum & Cimmerium being most conspicuous features along with the SPH in this view.
At 5.3・diameter, to be able to glimpse the twin prongs of Gomer Sinus was very satisfying given the outcome exceeded the seeing expectations.
Syrtis Major is just rotating into view on the following limb.
D.P. Milika & P. Nicholas, C14, Adelaide, South Australia.
In compiling our 2 images from April 6th & April 15th into a simple 2-frame animation
where continuity is seen between the 2 views
(Syrtis Major appearing on the following limb in the later image well past the C.M. in the earlier image)
it appears fairly evident that the Hellas Basin
& adjacent regions (including the SPH) exhibit discolouration (dust indicators)
in the April 15th image that are not evident in the earlier (April 6th) image.
Although this dust discolouration is subtle
I believe it to be fairly accurate due in no small manner to the resolution we attained in each image
& the comparable colour balances in the animation.
