I finally had a chance to image Mars! Mars is tiny now at only 5.6". 
Seeing was average but transparency was poor due to clouds.
Mars was only 35 degrees above the horizon when I took this image.
This image shows the Tharsis volcanic region. Mars is too small to resolve Olympus Mons. 
Note the late afternoon clouds over the trio Tharis volcanoes. The south polar cap is huge.
