I finally had a chance to image Mars! Mars is tiny now at only 5.6". Seeing was average but transparency was poor due to clouds. Mars was only 35 degrees above the horizon when I took this image. This image shows the Tharsis volcanic region. Mars is too small to resolve Olympus Mons. Note the late afternoon clouds over the trio Tharis volcanoes.
