解説(安達)/ Comment by Makoto Adachi
Dear sirs,on this morning Mars images a quite bright area over Chryse was detected directly on screen (arrowed on enhanced images),
both for IR (SLOAN z'-s' band) and RGB. I interpreted this feature as a very probable dust phenomenon.

I only had a short session on Mars as my priority this morning was the Juno PJ42 flyby.
Unfortunately seeing was poor, with the shorter wavelengths badly affected. Hellas,at upper left, shows as a bit bright.
The Chryse region, where there may be some bright activity, reported by Antonio, had not rotated into view.

シーイングはよくなかったうえに、ウェッジプリズムの取り付けの不具合で画像が滲んでしまった。
Seeing was not good and the image was blurred due to a faulty wedge prism installation.
