Hello ¬ the first clear sky for us in about 2 months, weather here has been appalling for planetary imaging! ¬ Despite a strong Jetstream & generally unfavourable seeing conditions the image turned out reasonably well ¬ not much to report except a very small SPC/Hood/haze. Obtaining focus was very much guesswork with the only real indicator being the lighter patches between M. Sirenum & M. Chronium to the east of the Electris region, this being good enough to evince reasonable detail in this somewhat rather featureless vista of Mars.
