２種類の画像撮影方法を使って撮影した。タルシス山と北極付近に雲の発生とみられる模様が確認できる。
The image was taken using two different imaging methods. A pattern that appears to be a cloudburst can be seen near Mount Tarsis and the North Pole.

木星ほどシーイングは良くなかった。とはいえ、かなりいい方で800倍の倍率を使った。800倍だとSPCはまだ見える。よく見ると2つ並んでいるのかと思われるが、確実ではない。
北半球のAmazonis (120W~170W,-5~+30)の淡い模様がよく見え、視直径が15秒以上の姿と似た感じに見えた。
ダスティーな地域は、ぼなくて、地表の淡い模様がかなり見えた。Arsia Silva Mons (W120,-3)の白雲も、ターミネーター近くになると、見やすくなった。

After Jupiter I went over to Mars. It was at an altitude of ~35 degrees,so as expected the seeing was great. Nevertheless,given the poor seeing,a reasonable result was achieved from 3 derotated RGB runs of 4 mins per colour channel and 3 IR 642nm〓BP runs..
The large expanse of the red Amazonis Planitia dominates the northern part of the planet in this view,while the albedo areas to the south are Mares Commerium on the f side and Sirenum on the p side of the Central Meridian. At the f limb the light area surrounding Elysium Mons is rotating into view. It is more evident in the later IR 642nm〓BP image. Olympus Mons was on the terminator,although the resolution did allow it to be resolved.
Some Orographic cloud is in evidence on the terminator to the south as is a more substantial mass over the north polar region.〓
