Comment by Makoto Adachi

Osamu Inoue. Hirakata-shi,Osaka,Japan]
Atmospheric instability continues, and there are few days when observations can be made with satisfactory seeing.
Clouds covering the area around the North Pole appear to be spreading more widely.

here is my last night obs in very good conditions.
NPH is large extending at ~40degN,with interesting structure. There is a brighter area in the NPH at L1~66 B 54N

The seeing was a little better than my previous view of this part of Mars earlier in the week, and I was able to eke out some tenuous shadings in the North although Elysium was still elusive.
In the better conditions I also noticed that the entire limb seemed slightly yellow and hazy, except for the part in the North-west.
The boundary of the NPH appeared dirty grey but the conditions were not good enough to resolve any gaps or other structure there.

These two images were taken in average to good seeing. The image at 08:20:42-UT catches Syris Major emerging.

Here is a Mars report performed last 04th with the 154mm cassegrain under average images.

These images were obtained under good steady conditions and feature Elysium and the north polar clouds.

Seeing here is mostly bad over the last two weeks, so I am glad to have caught these images. Interesting development of ice clouds over the north pole. Only few dust remaining in the atmosphere, most of it visible in higher southern latitudes.
