天頂付近を通過するタイミングで撮影したので，シーイングは良好であった。北極付近を覆う雲の形状が大変複雑であることが確認できる。雲を通して北極冠が見えているのかもしれない。
Seeing was good because the image was taken at the time of passing near the zenith. The shape of the clouds covering the area near the North Pole is very complicated. The North Pole cap may be visible through the clouds.

やや透明度は悪かったものの、良いシーイングに恵まれました。視直径も16秒角を越え、表面模様がかなり見やすくなってきました。

Here is a Mars report performed last 09th using the CC154mm under rather average images and less.
Something is appearing,the color disk since a week changed to milky yellowish,even also with the naked eye Mars appeared yellowish.
Also the overall contrasts appeared lowered also,but the appearance in the blue channel W38A would be less contrasted and more. Something is interfering in addition,not only the dusty atmosphere.
The contrast levels through the red filter W23A were hard as normal.
Is there any observers having imaged in UV channel?

北極フードの裾からチラッとウートピアあたりの地面が見え隠れするようになりました。
相変わらず気流は悪いです。せめて衝までは雪が降らないといいのですが。

We had a brief clearing last night,and although seeing was never really better than AIII,I was able to observe a reasonable amount of detail on Mars:
・In the far south,hints of Mare Australe can be seen. Argyre observed but not overly bright
・Mare Erythraeum showed some quite complex detail- there seemed to be a bright region on the following limb,perhaps a cloud over Ogygis Regio? Certainly this brightening has been present in previous observations.
・Aurorae Sinus quite prominent. Ganges also seen as a streak,while Ophir and Candor were bright.
・Margaritifer Sinus fairly well defined,Chryse was not particularly bright.
・The Oxia Pa. was seen extending from Niliacus Lacus,Acidalium was also visible. Nilokeras could be made out to the west of Acidalium.
・The Northern Polar Hood is now quite large and brilliant. There seemed to be a dark streak present within the hood- presumably part of Acidalium?
By 2157UT,thick cloud came in from the west and put a stop to further observations.

まずまずのシーイングだった。火星が天頂近くになって、体からの熱や息が筒先に流れ、その影響でいつも上に来るとシーイングが悪くなる。
今日も乱れ、意欲をそがれた。
