made an observation of Neptune on 31st August. Seeing was good and I used powers of x300 and x600- even so there was (unsurprisingly) little see on the disk except perhaps for a slight brightening to the north. Triton can be seen at the 11 o'clock position.[Paul G. Abel:Leicester:United Kingdom]
