Dear sirs, average to good seeing, and average transparency, for these Venus images.〓
Today mostly latitude-oriented IR cloud boundaries, one of them particularly evident (yellow arrows),but also a longitude-oriented "discontinuity-like" linear cloud feature that was already near the limb at the beginning of the session (red arrows).〓
In UV,the polar regions were particularly bright, while the equator was much darker. Interestingly, the N bright-dark interface in UV (yellow arrows) corresponded to the position of one of the IR bright linear clouds.
With respect to the "discontinuity-like" IR feature,it was near a slightly UV bright linear feature (red arrows),which was followed by the darkest (in UV) region of the disk.
With respect to the discontinuity itself,it is likely to appear on June 29,but I expect it to be very near the limb at my session timing. Therefore,I will try to see it tomorrow at the latest timing possible (so try to see it located near the terminator).
The usual IR and IR-UV gif animations are added to show atmospheric rotation (first and last IR images) and to compare IR (7:47UT) and UV (7:22UT) cloud patterns.
