Dear sirs, slightly better seeing allowed IR and UV imaging, but, once again,no hires data was obtained.
Two latitude-oriented dark cloud boundaries are seen in the N hemisphere, but the feature that I would like to emphasize today is what appears to be a (forming/new???) cloud discontinuity (arrows) near the limb. This, and other atmospheric features, rotate with time (see gif animation made from first and last IR images). The CD that has been observed several times at earlier dates (currently faint) was present near the terminator on July 18 and is expected to reappear tomorrow at a similar location. At least to confirm this, good seeing would be great for tomorrow's session.
UV data is of low resolution, but besides polar enhancement and a S hemisphere latitude-oriented bright UV feature,I would like to point out a UV-dark elongated area (arrowhead) that follows the putative "new" CD location. The UV (7:47UT) IR (754UT) animation may help the interpretation.
