The first drawing was made at 1403UT,the second at 1704UT. The markings on the disk were somewhat easier to see by late afternoon as the sun was much lower in the sky and this made the disk seem brighter. Alas there are trees (and a fence) in the way so I couldn't follow Mercury beyond this time.[Paul G. Abel:Leicester:United Kingdom]
