このあと寒気が入ってくる予報でしたが、すでに気流は悪化していました。
途切れたようなSTBの後についた白斑がやけに目立っていました

I am having to pick up the scraps with persistent cloudy evening conditions here.
The captures were between and through high cloud.
I only captured a single RGB set,as the seeing looked so bad,
and then moved on to a string of IR and CH4’s to see if things were better at the longer wavelengths.
I have included the (very) low-res RGB for the record anyway.

Please find Jupiter RGB and IR 642nm BP captures from 1st Feb 2023.
The seeing was just good enough to produce images worth posting and
you can see they are quite similar to Clyde's images of the same date
and in fact are only 30 degrees different in Longitude (L3)

Dear sirs, here are my Jupiter images obtained on Feb 01 (GRS was rising)
I started to use a third methane band filter (weak; 727nm; with matched 750nm/10nm continuum)
that will extend the range of methane filters I have been using for some time (CH4 strong 890/20nm; CH4 medium 1000nm/20nm)
EBs (NEB and SEB) as well as EZ are particularly rich in differences between CH4 727 and matched continuum,
that will be explored through image ratio and subtraction, obviously in non-enhanced but calibrated raws.
Synthetic RGB images, from enhanced channels will also be made.
For the moment I share two animated gifs (one for each day, both from data not included in the image sets
I attach) where CH4 727 and 750 continuum alternate (look for the hint of polar hoods on CH4 727 filter images).
Just as an example (Feb 01 gif) the SEB contains various deeper bright clouds that are subdued in the CH4 727 image.
