Hi, all
Looking at the ephemerides, I was only expecting to start imaging Jupiter early next month,
but as I wrapped up my Saturn session,
I could just make out Jupiter in the morning glow, just above the eastern wall of the observatory.
Altitude was 18deg, and with associated turbulent seeing and bright sky conditions, focus was a challenge.
I ran a number of captures, and this was the best.
Not a great image, but its Jupiter! I foresee a busy year ahead.
Please excuse the state of the observatory- Although operational,
I still have a lot to sort out, including cable managementc.
