This morning was purely a test for me to see if I could achieve anything from the severe Jetstream conditions (216km/h).
The seeing was certainly below average-poor,and I felt that the RGB data was not good enough.
However I did manage to capture single IR and CH4 which were a bit better than the other data captured.
The dark feature on the southern edge of the NEB was quite dramatic in the IR,
and also very noticeable in the CH4.

I am used to having the Jetstream move through in waves,
but the last two weeks has seen an almost continuous
band which now extends from the south eastern Atlantic well into the southern Pacific!
The tail is approaching the Namibia coast,so it will be interesting to see
if there is any improvement in the coming days.
