The RGB is from a single set of data as the seeing conditions deteriorated,recovering somewhat during the IR captures.
I am very much appreciating the fact of how well placed Jupiter was for my earlier years of imaging,
as the planet dropped quickly from 50 deg alt to less than 35 deg by the end of the session,
with the UV captured in bright sky. Max altitude from here is 52 deg.
I also find it fascinating to see the size comparison between the GRS and Oval BA.
It might be an interesting transit of Oval BA below the GRS in the coming months.

天気下り坂で曇り空が心配でしたが朝まで持ったようです。とはいっても昨晩の観測は宵のうちのみです。
大きなガニメデが南極をかすめて通過中です。

NEBの拡幅域にできた新しいリフトは、長く発達してベルトの中央付近まで来ています。
少し後方には新しい白斑も現れて、今後ベルト北部に何か影響が及ぶかもしれません。
一方、SEBはのっぺりとした印象で、細長いバージとベルト北部の明部だけが目立ちます。
STBnのジェット暗斑群は小さく淡いものばかりで、シーイングが良い時だけぞろりと並んで見えます。
ガニメデが南極近くをかすめていきました。表面に明暗があるのがわかりました。

Seeing was good,but transparency was average due to thin clouds in the upper atmospheric layers.

Edge C14/224MC in horrible transparency,but showing detail on Ganymede!

Showing the area around BA/GRS, before BA lost its outer ring. Inner
cream ring is well contrasted in B/UV though.
I did never pay attention to the dark ring visible inside the GRS in
methane/Y. It looks to correspond to a blue ring visible on high-res
color images. What is this feature ? Quite curious
