日中はプラス気温だったので撮影時も−3℃でした。9日振りの撮影でずいぶん小さく感じました。

With opportunities being very limited due to the persistent evening cloud (it’s the peak rainfall season now),I tried to make the most of a gap yesterday evening. Seeing conditions however were poor to very poor. Syrtis Major is towards the terminator at right.
Although not well seen,Elysium is at lower centre.

Some fine seeing moments this evening,at least for two of four image runs.
Im am quite sure, that the NPH has lifted up and we do see now ice from the NPC,which should be excentrically most visible at this mars longitudes. Another hint for ice ist, that its white in the red channel now too, where it did not appear white,as long as there were clouds of the NPH.

These images include Sinus Sabaeus, with Syrtis Major and Hellas near the sunset limb. White clouds are present in both polar regions.

Hellas seems to be somewhat cloudy/hazy. More evident is a haze patch at the p limb,at about ~5-6 o'clock. That must be somewhere south of Mare Cimmerium

In average seeing conditions. Transparency started off good but then became hazy later on. Between 1903UT and 1928UT I was making observations of the comet.
Points of interest include:
・At the start,Syrtis Major was close to the morning limb and was quite hard to see- this may have been due to clouds.
・Also at the start, there seemed to be a lot of cloud visible in the far south and extending into Thyle II and possibly Eridania and Electris.
・Hellas was again quite bright with details seen within- probably Peneus and Zeal.
・Yaonis regio slightly brighter but Mare Hadriacum and Hellespontus dark- Hellespontus was darker.
・The Mare Tyrrehenum was once more quite dark with Ausonia a lighter region,Sinus Sabeus quite dark and can be seen in drawing 2,Pandore Fretum seen.
・To the far north,Casius and Umbra could be seen just above the NPC.

This image of Mars features Sinus Meridian in less than average seeing.

A couple of recent Mars images from last week showing a very thin NPC with a dark border and what looks like thin clouds across the S hemisphere over Ausonia-Eridania.
