Attached is an observation of Venus made this afternoon. When I first observed the planet seeing was incredibly poor, however an hour or so later it improved. I estimate the phase to be about 57% (the theoretical phase is 60%) and so actual dichotomy is probably only a few weeks away. Two cloudy streaks could be seen on the disk, also:
・Bright Limb Band: Visible and complete
・Terminator: Geometrically regular, however there were some dark patches along the terminator (the terminator was perhaps not uniform) and in the poor seeing this did make it look slightly irregular- however I attribute this to poor seeing conditions.
・Cusp Caps: Both seen and both very bright. The southern cusp cap seems to be brighter and in the poor seeing it did appear to extend beyond the terminator however I am fairly sure that this is a an artefact of the poor conditions.
・Cusp Collars: Both seen- both appear equal.
Observations stopped at 1548UT as conditions became too poor to continue.

シーイングがよくなかったので,表面の模様は不鮮明であった。
The seeing was not good,so the surface pattern was indistinct.
