Hi all,here are images of Jupiter from last night in a short spell of reasonable seeing.
The GRS is prominent at lower right in both images,and the CH4 image shows some interesting details.

注目される大赤斑前方の様子を知るチャンスでしたが、シーイングは悪くなるばかりです。
大赤斑前方のSTrZは薄暗くなっています。
フックは淡いながらはっきりと見えましたが、STrBの伸長状況はわかりません。
大赤斑の南まで来ているSTBの暗部がちょっと伸びて、大赤斑前方のSTB北縁が濃く感じるのですが、
STBnなのかSTrBなのか判別できませんでした。

We hjad a clear night here on 15th January,although seeing was only average at best. Still,there were a number of interesting things to be observed:
- S3TB - SSTB interesting,some brighter sections and a white oval seen near the following limb.
- STB interacting with the GRS. This belt seems to have split- just above the GRS the STB seems to split into two slightly irregular sections.
- SEB broad,STBz very orange/ginger and goes down under the GRS.
- GRS pale orange,I did think that the RSH was very bright tonight. There seems to be a border from the SEB extending around the GRS.
- EZ interesting,the EZ(n) is noticeably more yellow,while the EZ(s) white in colour. Festoons seen in EZ(n).
- NEB very active- many rifts and bright spots seen. The NEBn seems to be rather irregular.
- Hints of the NTB seen.
- NNTB visible,greyish brown in colour.
- Io (upper) and Europa (lower) close to the proceeding limb. Io then Europa passed behind Jupiter after the drawing was made.
Came back out to the telescope at 2127UT but seeing conditions utterly hopeless. Ice everywhere!
