The NE monsoon has finally hit our area. We had a week of clouds and cool weather coming from the northern Pacific.
I finally had a break today. But seeing was very unstable due to powerful gusts.
The GRS shows some flaking activity. The hook like feature NW of the GRS is very prominent.
This feature seems to be a barrier that prevents the wake of the GRS from spilling to the other side of the SEB.
The chimney above the GRS is open. The wake of the GRS is looks very chaotic.

Slightly better conditions today than the last days but the second session
as the GRS turned up was blocked by thick clouds.

Hi all,here's an image of Jupiter from last night.
Seeing was variable but good at times,with a lot of local cloud interrupting the session.
The GRS is prominent at the lower centre of the image.
Hi all,here's another image from last night,recorded earlier in the session.
There was a lot of interruptions due to cloud so it has taken a bit longer to sort out and process.
Originally I wasn't sure that I could process it but it turned out ok after all.
The seeing was quite good at times. This is 14 RGB images spanning 40 minutes.
For this image I'm using the new Autostakkert 4.0.9 and WaveSharp (the replacement for Registax).
Wavesharp is still in beta but looks very promising.
In this image the GRS can be seeing rising at lower left.

冬型が緩んで、シーイングも良くなりました。
夕食後の観測で、大赤斑前方にSTrBが伸びているのを見ることができました。
すでに20°くらいの長さになっているようです。

SEB内で濃くなって部分の中央には小さな数珠のように連なる斑点(赤色?)が・・・。
SSTB(?)には白斑が連なっていることが見て取れ､NNTBnにも白斑かと思えるものが・・・・・。
18時半には全天に雲が拡がって・・・･
