風が強く気温も低く、観測には厳しい条件でした。
気流状態も冴えませんでした。

日没直後の薄明中は良いシーイングでしたが、暗くなるにつれて悪くなりました。
STrZの暗斑はだいぶ淡くなったようです

My Jupiter on the 24th.In the early hours of the night there was light
fog, however I got a capture that seems "decent" to me.I feel good
[Fumega Camilo Ucha : Galicia,Spain]
We had clear skies on 26th January and I made two drawings of Jupiter. At the time of the first drawing, seeing was average however by the time of the second drawing seeing was much better even though the planet was at a lower altitude. A nukber of interesting points on the disk:
- S3TB-SSTB: In drawing 1 this region was not particularly striking- there seems to be a gap in the SSTB. By the time of drawing two, both the S3TB and SSTb were much better defined. Two white ovals and a large light region between them could be seen.
- STB: In drawing 1 it could only be seen towards the following limb.
Some darker patches seen elsewhere where the belt would be.
In drawing 2 the STB is much darker, broad and easily seen.
It seems to come to a halt before the following limb.
- STropZ interesting,it does seem that there are brighter spots between the SEB and STB at various points along this zone.
They are not well defined but can be seen.
- SEB: A broad belt. A brownish SEBz could be seen.
In drawing 1 there seemed to be a small section extending from the SEB into the STropZ.
By the time of drawing 2,there seems to be a darker greyish line below the zone and another one marking the northern boundary of the SEB.
- EZ: Rather active- a number of festoons observed with bright regions see near some festoons.
- NEB: Very active! A number of bright rifts seen, some of them, particularly by the time of drawing 2,were very striking.
- NTB: A thin bluish belt which marks the NTB could be seen. Interestingly by the time of drawing 2,there seems to be a second bluish component to the NTB?
- NNTB: Vague in drawing 2 but a dark brown obvious feature by the time of drawing 2.
Seeing started to fall off as Jupiter got lower. Observations concluded at 2104UT.
