I had better conditions than on previous outings and there was a
substantial improvement in the seeing once the altitude of the planet
exceeded 20 degrees,just before sunrise. I made 7 IR,R,G,B runs,but only
derotated and integrated the last two for each channel,with their quality
being vastly superior to the early runs. The resolution in the IR image is
superior given that it is less impacted by the seeing than the shorter
wavelength captures.
The GRS is in transit and the chimney above it appears to be open. The
large festoon in the north of the EZ on the f side of the GRS can again be
observed as it was back on the 24th of June.
