The night between October 31st and November 1st,atmospheric turbulence conditions were repeated,
very favorable to planetary imaging.
To make the most of them,
I waited for Jupiter to reach its maximum height above the horizon and I think the result proves it.
I don't know if my 36cm newton can reach much beyond this level of detail,
but I certainly think I'm close to its limit. It's a shame I couldn't admire the Red Spot in this opposition yet...
let's hope we can take it again with at least similar conditions in the next few days!

台風21号へ向かう南からの風と雲、その雲間での撮影。光量・気流が安定しません。
雲が増え、突然の雨の不安もありカラー撮影のみで撤収

Mike Karakas
Here's my Jupiter image submission from this morning's efforts.
Seeing was average at best,so I was content to stay with just the IR and CH4 captures.

Glauco Uri
One IR and 2 RGB. The second one unfortunately was during a cloud
passage, but it seems interesting to me due to the rising grs
