A very warm welcome to Moises and Henning to the hstjupiter group!
I didn’t expect to image this morning,as cloud was forecast, but I managed to squeeze in some IR captures. Similar view to yesterday.

After many weeks of cloud I had fair seeing at low altitude for this RGB capture of Mars. The Mars Edge Rind Effect is quite severe and it is difficult to make out the Tharsis Shield Volcanoes and Olympus Mons, which were near the Central Meridina at the time of capture. There is some suggestion of orographic clouds over the Tharsis Montes but it is difficult to be conclusive about that.
