ttached is an observation of Jupiter made on 3rd March. Although the skies were very clear during the day,
by the evening the skies became hazy and seeing was only average.
There were a number of interesting things on the disk:

- SPR quite distinctive- in particular there was a dark polar band which had a distinctly bluish colour
- S3TB and SSTB seen but they region between them seemed to be shaded on the following side of the disk.
- STB seen,it passes over the GRS. Interestingly it seemed to break in two near the centre of the disk.
- GRS can be seen setting, the spot was naturally foreshortened
but still I had the impression that it was smaller than previously observed.
- SEB quite broad- turbulent region seen following the GRS. Both north and south components were seen.
- EZ not as active as before, there was a EB and a few festoons.
- NEB broad and very active. There were dark spots, bright rifts and white regions extending from the NTropZ into the NEB.
- NTB(s) now well defined and brownish colour. For the first time,I was able to see a NTB(n) and it had a bluish colour.
- NNTB seen,a light brownish colour.
- NPR interesting there was a brighter patch and some darker structures observed.
By 2001UT clouds had come up and no more observing could be done.
