Catching up. I took this image of Jupiter the same night as the Shadow Transit of Titan.
I had to wait two hours after the end of the transit for Jupiter to rise high enough in the sky.
Clear, slight haze and humid. Above average seeing. Jupiter in methane and ultraviolet came out nice.
This is how I gauge the seeing- if these two images come out lousy, the seeing was poor.
I would like to thank Clyde Foster for his technique of binning 2x2 in Firecapture during video acquistion then Drizzling 1.5x in Autostakkert.
Without binning, these two images were very faint and would not have been able to be photographed.
These images are probably before the storm outbreak on Jupiter.
