under a transparent sky and good images by moments.
Mare Acidanium and Mare Erythraeum exhibited notably lower contrasts than normal.
This means a veil is covering these areas. In spite of this,the disk color was well orange even with the naked eye.
An extension of NPC is slightly noted over Utopia,CM200° more or less,the brightness zone on NPC.
Some brightenings were noted at the limb and the terminator.

Mars during two consecutive nights,starting ~ 1.5 h before midnight Jan 31th/Feb 1st. Clouds are present in various places. Note the ones over the Tharsis volcanoes becoming apparent in (Mars-)evening as chain of white spots.

Hi,all good seeing for once last saturday. Tharsis is displaying nice cloud activity.
Take blue light images of Mars! It's more surprising than the surface markings...
I'm adding a simulation to show where the ring of 6 white patches locate on the surface. The most northerly one corresponds to Alba Patera and the weakest one just beneath corresponds to a small dome.
A still faint equatorial cloud belt looks to be building up already. As for now it is only clearly visible in UV ligth.
