Faint equatorial cloud, appearing bluish over Syrtis Major, denser near morning terminator. Orographic cloud over Elysium near evening limb.

Good seeing conditions. Orographic clouds are visible above the Tharsis volcanoes ( Arsia,Pavonis,Ascraeus,Olympus). The North

Carsten Bauer
Comparing the 17:45 recording with the 20:27 one shows how the clouds over Olympus M. get more dense towards the evening. But the different view angle (more striking near the limb) may play a role, too.

Stanislas Maksymowicz
Images were poor to average under an excellent sky transparency.
Brightenings/ white clouds were noted on the limb and the terminator, especially with the B filter.

Seeing conditions were fair and it was clear that there seemed to be a lot of white cloud activity on the planet. Other points of interest include:
-Cloud activity visible in Electris and Eridania- the clouds here give these regions a slight bluish cast.
-Mare Cimmerium the main feature in the south- it is a dark band and it's northern edge is not smooth. The region just north AEolis and Cyclopum seem to be quite bright.
-Streaks seen in Amazonis, bright white clouds present on the evening limb.
-Trivium Charontis quite dark and complex. Elysium seemwed quite bright to me and I suspected white clouds in Hyblaeus.
-Dark markings seen in Propontis II and a dark Lowell band. Northern polar cap can also be seen.
I had hoped to get a second drawing but frequent passing cloud after this drawing was made became thicker. By 2214UT the sky was completely cloudy and no further observing could be done.

Thin cloud was slowly building so I observed a little earlier than I would have normally done.
The seeing was not very good and I couldn't use filters due to the dimness of the image.
There was diffuse grey mist at the morning limb, and also at the southern limb,
There was brighter whiter mist at the evening limb with fingers extending out over Olympus Mons and the area north of Mare Sirrenum.
