Conditions were poor last night. Solis Lacus at upper centre. Olympus Mons can be seen near the right limb, with the Tharsis Montes detectable to its upper left.

I had some fine seeing and was able to get a good view of the mist around the evening limb.
There was bright white mist covering northern Mare Acidalium, in W80a I glimpsed what appeared to be a delicate streak tracking around the following edge of Niliacus Lacus towards Lunae Lacus.
There was further bright mist in Chryse extending towards Tharsis, in integrated light there was a bright circular patch at the approximate position of Noctis, but I could not see this in W80a.
Solis Lacus was challenging. To its south was a patch of mist on the limb.
On the morning mist I could see diffuse grey mist, extending a little way onto the disc.

Mars looked the same as usual, but I was surprised to see the area around Arabia (310W~330W~+35~+10) bright when I looked through the G filter. It seems that this has not been seen for a while, and it looks slightly whitish in color, and I could tell that white clouds were spreading. This area was also faintly faint when viewed through the B filter. When viewed in visible light without the filter, it appeared to be slightly brighter.
However, I don't think I would have noticed it if I hadn't observed through the filter. Hellas (275~315W, -30~60) appears to be covered by faint clouds, but is not bright enough to be noticeable to the naked eye.
