Under good images.
Have a look at the clouds/veils noted at the limb and the terminator, whitish at the first look,
are on some part of the surface also bright with the yellow filter.
Syrtis Major contrast is lowered.Hellas basin is the brighter feature noted on the disk.
NPC is bordered by a dark collar.Have good receipt of the present mail.

In average seeing conditions using a power of x460. There were a number of points of interest on the small disk:
・The evening limb is bright probably due to the presence of white clouds
・Hellas appears to be bright and is white in colour.
・Mare Hadriacum is can still be discerned as a darker region. The Mare Tyrrhenum is also a darker region.
・Syrtis Major is near the centre of the disk,it's northern part seems to be somewhat obscured and had a bluish tint (I was surprised to be able to see this on a disk only 6.2"in diameter!)
・OEnortria,MAre Ionium and Strongyre Ins. all seem to be darker.
・In the far northern,Alcyonius I,Casius and Umbra can be seen. The northern polar cap was also well defined but now quite small and bounded by a dark band.
The seeing fell off at 2048UT putting a stop to any further Mars osbervations this everning. The seeing was a little too poor for filter work.
