A variety of factors (some good, some bad!) have limited my imaging opportunities recently, but I was able to run a Mars session yesterday evening, with the planet now just below 5”. Conditions on screen were not particularly good, with almost no surface contrast visible, but the high frame rate, combined with a 10% stack managed to draw out some features, with the reducing NPC showing quite nicely. The view looks down on Tharsis, with Olympus Mons fairly close to centre.[Clyde Foster : Khomas,Namibia]
