An R610LP image from this afternoon, produced from 2 60s captures, with winds gusting up to 7m/s. Syrtis Major can be made out to the right, and I was a little surprised at the brightness of the NPR. With solar elongation of 17 deg, chasing Mars at this stage has become more of a personal challenge than necessarily adding value![Clyde Foster : Khomas,Namibia]
