ISS/Atlantis STS122/Progress P27 Image 2008/02/11(UT)

  This observation of the ISS with the docked Atlantis STS-122 is taken in less good
  seeing then one day earlier,but the views are well detailed though.The angle of
  which we see the shuttle is difficult,but we see the plain of the underside,the heatshield
  from a very low angle,and the wings and especially the tail of the shuttle is
  good in the light,as mostly)

  Beside the ISS with shuttle,there is another spacecraft following its mothership.
  On February 11,the Progress P27 followed the orbit of the major ISS at 16 minutes 
  as an object comparable with the stars of Cassiopea.Each day,this time increased 
  with a few minutes.(On February 12 it was already 20 minutes). P27,loaded with 
  trash was undocked from the ISS on February 4.The difference with other 
  Progress ships is that its destiny was not to burn directly into the Earths atmosphere;
  the unpiloted spacecraft was held at a save distance to the station for some experiments. 
  Catching any detail of the Progress with the telescope was a hard job,much harder 
  then the ISS.Not only is it very small and much fainter,but its speed seemed also 
  higher,indicating that it is set in a lower orbit probably.
