2012年3月14日
Jean Jacques Poupeauが背の低いTerminator Projectionを記録した。
(CM=142°の画像)3月12日に比べると、半分くらいの高さに見えるが、情報が
少なくはっきりしない。D.C.Parkerが
発生地点を含む画像を記録しているが、特別に変わった模様は見られない。
(reported by 23 observers)

Jean Jacques Poupeau recorded Terminator Projection where had low
height.(image of CM=142 degrees) The height half in comparison with
March 12 shows it,but there is few it,and information does not become
clear. D.C.Parker records the image including the outbreak spot, but the

Thanks to Marc and Damian for pointing out the IR leakage of my B channel. I got my Astrophysics Dielectric diagonal as my trusty UV-IR blocking filter. Seeing was good this evening.
My images today is very similar to the image I took yesterday. Because of better seeing, more details can be seen and features are clearer. Clouds can be seen on both the eastern and western edges of Mars. The north polar cap is still a bit yellowish. Note the dark ring around the polar cap.

この3日間でシーイングは一番悪くなりました。
リム周辺の水蒸気の量の違いによって、火星が多角形になっています。

in very similar seeing to the previous. Image looks much the same 90 seconds per channel,PGR Grasshopper Express camera,IR - G - B filters.

The date is 2012/03/14 at 21h14m UT. From Zaragoza (Spain)
It was taken with a Meade S/C 254mm. and barlow 3X. With a DMK camera. RGB image with Astronomik filters.
The seeing was very good.

This time,transparancy was
not good, especially while capturing the blue channel.
I also made an animated comparison with another image of Mars, taken 5 weeks
ago,2012/02/08.
C.M. position was nearly equal on both images. Of course, one of the images was
resized to get both in equal size.

The sets were shot 71 minutes apart, and over this time the Elysium cloud brightened significantly as the region passed local noon.
The ECB across Isidis was again conspicuous.
There was moderate to strong blue clearing, and the Syrtis Blue cloud was conspicuous.

Some excellent seeing occurred here on this night (a full set of images will follow in the days ahead) but i wanted to send these first as there is much of note, especially in the high quality B filter image i was able to obtain.
Interesting to note the orographic clouds flanking the volcanoes notably become weaker and fainter the further south in latitude you look with Arsia Mons having only a very small and weak cloud flanking it. Also interesting to note all the orographics flank the western sides of the volcanoes with the Ascraeus cloud being far and away the brightest and largest. Chasma Borealis is nicely seen in the NPC with fragmented outliers.

under excellent seeing. The high altitude cloud was captured (cutout inset.)
Nice to see how the orographics develop at they approach the limb.
