I did some verification on neptune〓on 1st sept.〓evening with here the 150mm refractor under 300 and 400x magnification at 22H00UT. I would say a bright dot seemed at the CM near the p〓le seemsly. Images were unusually stable for the planet elevation 30° (CM122°) images quoted 7/10 on a m6 star close to.[Stanislas Maksymowicz Ecquevilly,France]

Here are my results of planet Neptune recorded during my visit of the IAS observatory in Namibia earlier this year. Please beware that some detail is just noise. I think that the brighter spot in the northern hemisphere in the Aug.30 images (red filter) is real. IR images in contrast have less SNR, but I included them also for reference.[Robert Schulz,Austria]
