The planet is rapidly closing in on the sun,and picking it out with the naked eye took slightly longer than usual due to the brightness of the sky and the planet's closer proximity to the sun. Seeing was poor but I did suspect some slight cusp extensions:
Illuminated Disk: Just a thin crescent- but a large disk size of 56.7" which means a power of x111 shows a very large disk- albeit a featureless one.
Unilluminated Disk: Not seen.
Bright Limb Band: Visible and complete- indeed this is all that's left.
Terminator: Geometrically regular.
Cusp Caps and Collars: Not seen- cusp extensions suspected and slightly easier in theW#15 although nothing definite was seen.

This is a pastel (white on black) made of Venus with my refractor 102/1000.
To improve the contrast I used one set of two filters: orange plus green,#12 and #58 together.
A red filter #A80 was used to detect the venus cusp's limits.
The used magnification was 200x.

Yesterday afternoon a lovely break in the long period of cloud we have been
having, combined with decent seeing conditions, allowed imaging of Venus in
IR light just 10days before inferior conjunction- showing it as a slender
crescent. Venus lay directly above the sun and the bowl facing directly up
from the horizon was a wonderful sight in the eyepiece.
