I spent the present day to follow the planet, from rise to set, also in dawn and night borning to see the intensity evolution and dark markings presence.
The sky was a pure blue color here. AL was still there but at variable intensities.
Cusp extensions was there as shown (by arrows). The copper tint was mostly noted,a frank reddish color at the Sunset times, disappearance on a quater hour time then a recover of the light with a more yellowish white color on dawn and borning night.
The change of colors may think of the influence of the sun day light, just an idea. Refer now to the reports for taking the notes in consideration.
Scopes in use were the VMC 200mm and the Celestron 90mm maksutov, not bad scopes and neutral with regards to the good color correction.
We should ave a same look during the next morning elongation, more accessible to me here with a fix station.
The relative poor AL intensity may be due to the declination of earth at the planet combined to the declination of sun (respectively -9.6° and -2.4°,near 0 on 2013 where AL was strong).

This is a pastel (white on black) made of Venus with my refractor 102/1000.
To improve the contrast I used one set of two filters: orange plus green,#12 and #58 together.
A red filter #A80 was used to detect the venus cusp's limits.
The used magnification was 200x.
