After a string of evenings where I checked conditions and aborted,
last night looked a bit better despite there still being significant jet stream.
I was pleasantly surprised with the RGB,with the planet showing a beautiful and diverse range of colours.
I am not sure about the "band" in the south (RGB),whether it is real or an artefact. Comments welcome.
