Condition was still unstable today. The bands of Saturn are well resolved. There are no low contrast storms on these images.

Imaged Saturn August 7th in good seeing. The long lived coupled pair of bright spots just inside the NPR are well resolved at approx Lat+64.2 L3 219.5 and Lat+64.1 L3 230.3. Two ripples on the edge of the EZ impinging up into the NEB are well resolved at approx Lat+14.4 L1 166 and Lat+ 15.3 L1 141.2. Many low contrast features are resolved within the EZ, I note a compact bright spot in the Southern hemisphere at approx Lat-5.4 L1 182.4 which is marked and well seen in my 685nm IR animation which covers 1 1/2 hours of Saturn rotation. I also note a v-thin linear feature centered on Lat+17.5 in the NEB and close to the EZ boundary, it extends from the Western most EZ ripple back toward the F limb. Such a feature accompanied these EZ ripples throughout the 2020 apparition. The vertices of the polar hexagon are seen in the RGB polar maps and the low contrast EZ features are also seen in the 685nm IR polar maps.
