昨日までよりは良いシーイングでした。ただ湿度が高く、最後の BE410
画像の撮影中に鏡面に結露しだしたようで、画像にややムラができてしまいました。

Mars under good seeing

シーイングは比較的良好であった。北極冠に広がる雲がはっきり認められる。雲の一部が分断している様子が確認できる。
Seeing was relatively good. Clouds spreading over the northern polar cap were clearly visible. Partial breakup of clouds can be seen.

AURRAE SINUSの右が暗くなっているようで、SOLIS LACUSが目立ちません。北極雲の右下が、気のせいか少し尖っている様な気もします。
B-370では、解像度が悪く右下の様子はハッキリしません。南極と明け方も薄いモヤがあるようです。

The seeing was quite good for this low altitude (33 deg) capture of Mars.
Unfortunately cloud intervened to restrict me to one RGB run,which tends to make the Mars Edge Rind Effect more obvious.
However,quite good detail is resolved. Olympus Mons,is the large ruddy spot towards the limb on the north side of the equator and on the f side of the Central Meridian.
The Tharsis Montes are central and the northernmost of the three peaks,Ascraeus Mons also has a reddish appearance.
The Vallis Marineris is nearing the terminator and Solis Lacus is central to the south.
There is perhaps some evidence of residual dust clouds to the south,but they are not very obvious.
Both poles seem to be cloud covered,but it is much thicker to the north.

Mare Acidariumの様子を見るために、早くから観測したが、意外にも何とか見ることができた。
かなりひろい範囲に雲がある。雲の下には白い霜のようなものが見えたときがあった。

昨日とほぼ同じ経度ですが、シーイングが良くなり詳細が撮影できました。
アキダリウムに北から延びる白い雲状の広がりが目立ちます。

予想以上にシーイングが不安定で、ダストが残っているのかどうか良く分かりませんでした。

3 rgb images and an ir610nm filter image. Extensive cloud cover, the NP hood along with Olympus Mons, the Tharses Montes, Nilokeras peeping out from under the NPH as well as Valles Marineris etc are visible along with extensive dust in the South: they span 1.5 hours & for 30 degrees elevation we were quite satisfied with the images we obtained.
