Dear sirs, average seeing and poor transparency for today's Venus images.
Cloud discontinuity was seen five days ago, very close to the terminator (later in the day),so I was expecting to see it there today,at early hours, hopefully with better seeing.
It is well seen in IR (arrows),perhaps less active since it is mostly seen in the N hemisphere. It is preceded (linked to) by a dark but short latitude-oriented cloud boundary.
There is also a wavy mid-altitude cloud boundary (dark/bright) that runs through both hemispheres around the CM.
UV shows bright clouds over both PRs and an oblique bright line running through lower latitudes. Arrows show on UV image the positioning of the cloud discontinuity and although no comparable UV feature can be seen, the discontinuity lies under an UV dark area.
Gif animations show atmospheric rotation (first and last IR images) and UV (7:44UT) and IR (7:31UT) patterns.
A july 2-3 map projection emphasizes today's wavy cloud boundary (p to the CD) and day-to-day pattern continuity.
