Dear sirs, here are today's Venus images, obtained under average seeing and transparency. Both IR and UV imaging was possible.
Linear bright cloud patterns (latitude-oriented,slightly wavy) were seen mostly near the equator. A dark IR patch (long arrow) was seen near the NPR. S of it,a a very distinct thin IR dark cloud boundary was present (small arrow). The two above features seem to be beneath UV bright clouds (arrows).
A dark UV area near the equator (dark "spot"; arrowhead) is apparently above IR-bright turbulent mid-altitude clouds near the limb. Unfortunately, available resolution was not enough to reach any precise conclusion.
The usual IR and IR-UV gif animations are added to show atmospheric rotation and IR-UV often complementary patterns.
A june30-july2 map projection is also added with today's images to allow a global overview. Together,a turbulent mid-altitude cloud panorama,at low latitudes (N and S) seems to emerge.
