Conditions were variable but we did have some good steady moments and I'm reasonably convinced that when observed in W15 yellow the terminator was straight- i.e. that the planet was at dichotomy.
The situation was slightly complicated by the brilliant cusp caps which,at times appeared to extend beyond the terminator and deform the terminator. This effect was much more apparent in the poorer seeing so it was,no doubt an artefact of the poor seeing conditions. It is interesting that the effect didn't completely vanish when conditions were good. Given this,it is possible the planet was at a phase of 50.5%,but as the terminator largely seemed straight I think it probably was at dichotomy.
On the disk some cloud markings could be seen- also:
Bright: Limb Band: Visible and complete
Terminator: Geometrically regular but at times deformed around the bright cusp caps.
Cusp Caps: Both brilliant, northern cusp cap may have been smaller.
Cusp Collars: Both present- about equal.

Finally caught up. I imaged Venus in the visible with a UV-IR cut filter.
I included the aligned and stacked only image as well as a slightly sharpened image (no resampling). Let's see if we can successfully image and confirm this phenomenon.
